Dragon Force: Devourer’s Attack by Katie & Kevin Tsang

Since the first Dragon Realm book, I have been completely captivated by this world where humans and dragons work together to defeat common enemies. Focused on adventure, courage and discovering your true self, readers are swept away on an non-stop, action-packed journey.

The ensemble cast means there’s someone for every reader to relate to. The idea of a heart-bonded dragon is a dream. Who doesn’t want a incredible, magical creature with a heart of gold who knows your every thought?!

Devourer’s Attack is book two in the Dragon Force series (following on from the five Dragon Realm books plus the World Book Day special). Lance and his little sister, Zoe, are at the legendary Camp Claw training to be a part of the elite Dragon Force. When the rumbling volcano warns of an intruder, Lance, Zoe, Arthur and Bea (along with their brilliant dragons) must face horrible creatures and save the rest of the Dragon Force team.

With one challenge after another, the trainees use their unique gifts to defeat dangerous creatures in the most incredible places. The fantastic world building brings the settings to life. The branches of the Dragon’s Claw pennisula reach out into the sea sensing the power of the dragons. These are not static places – they are living and breathing, working for or against the team.

Lance’s relationship with his sister is so true to life – slightly competitive but always protective, he really only wants the best for her. When the unexpected happens, he can’t bear to think of a future without her. But to save themselves and the Dragon Force team, they have to make sacrifices and consider giving up everything. Can they master their fears and use logic to solve the problems they face?

I can’t wait for the next adventure coming in September 2024!

Thank you to Simon and Schuster Children’s for an early copy of this brilliant book!
