Dear Earth by Isabel Otter & illustrated by Clara Anganuzzi

Dear Earth is a beautiful book about a planet full of incredible wonders. This planet is also so, so fragile and needs our love and care. Humans have hurt the Earth but they can heal it too.

Tessa’s grandpa tells her about his adventures. She wants to be an explorer just like him and decides to write a letter to the Earth. As she writes, her words explode into gorgeous illustrations that fill the pages. She dives into the deep oceans, stampedes across the plains, splashes in waterfalls and explores the frozen poles. Geese take her to great heights and sharks take her to great depths. The whole world surrounds her and she realises how precious it is.

Dear Earth is inspirational for young readers. Full of facts about the Earth in trouble, it is clear that we must do something to help. One of the most important things we can all do is share Tessa’s message. The end of the book lists very practical ideas about what we can all do to help.

Thank you to Little Tiger for this beautiful book!
