Love, support, acceptance and kindness are what make people shine brightly. The same is true for the lovely little fir tree in the gorgeous book. At first, the tree is devastated when it isn’t chosen to become a Christmas tree. Left in the clearing, all alone, it longs to feel needed and loved. The animals of the forest reach out to the tree and help it to become the tree it was always meant to be. Now a jolly, festive tree, it stands tall – proud of what it has become.
Beautiful illustrations show all the life of the forest and the important connections between the flora and fauna. As the seasons change and life moves on, the forest remains a strong community that lives and grows together.
The Tree That’s Meant to Be will be a wonderful addition to our box of special Christmas books.
