Supertato Sticker Book by Sue Hendra & Paul Linnet

The Supertato Sticker Book by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet is a fun accompaniment to the Supertato picture book series. If you haven’t read the adventures of this veggie superhero, you absolutely must get your hands on them! They tell the story of Supertato, a brave potato who regularly saves the day in the supermarket. The Evil Pea is on the loose and causing trouble everywhere he goes!

In the sticker book story, the fruit and vegetables are getting ready for a carnival. The reader is invited to help them prepare through a wide variety of activity pages: sticker dress-up, cake decorating, spot the difference, a maze, dot-to-dot, complete the scene and a sticker jigsaw. Of course, the Evil Pea makes an appearance and tries to stop the celebrations. He’s no match for this super spud and his friends!

The bright, colourful stickers and fun pages make this book a wonderful gift for little ones. It comes at just the right time when parents are trying to find worthwhile, engaging activities for their children to do at home. With 24 appealing pages, there is lots for children to explore and enjoy. Why not extend the fun by adding paper or googly eyes to fruit and veg at home to recreate the stories! In our house, they tried to help decorate a chocolate cake!

Thank you to Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet for this wonderful book! We’ve decided that the best home for it is with my ten-year-old son’s best friend’s little sister. She’s five years old and just the right age for these silly adventures!
