Neighbour’s Cat by Michael Rosen and Alex Willmore is all kinds of delightful! I always love a book about cats – with my own two mischievous kittens at home – but this one really strikes a chord. I have a feeling our Sadie would love to copy this naughty role model given half a chance.
In this brightly coloured, hugely energetic picture book, ‘Neighbour’s Cat’ spends about as much time in the narrator’s house as in its own. With typical cat arrogance and an indisputable sense of entitlement, this cat makes itself at home. Young readers will giggle along with all the hilarious hijinks. With so much to look at, this is a book to read again and again.
