Ghosts of Mars: The Adventures of Eva Knight by Stuart White ~ Blog Tour

The Ghosts of Mars is a fantastic science-fiction adventure for every young reader who has ever wondered what it would be like to live on Mars. Action-packed with incredibly high stakes, it takes Eva (the first person to be born on Mars) and her band of faithful friends on a quest full of technology, danger and a supernatural mystery.

Eva is a force to be reckoned with! Feisty, determined and tough, she wants to show everyone she has what it takes to be an astronaut and explore the unknown. Even her Type 1 Diabetes won’t stop her. It might slow her down from time to time when she pushes herself too hard but she always seems to make it through. Lessons in self-care and the importance of listening to your body are clear alongside an amazing role model who doesn’t let anything stand in her way.

Life is difficult on the Martian base. Her father is co-commander with a power-hungry woman and he doesn’t have time for Eva. Strange ghosts start appearing with a message for her. Could it be her mother? What does she want? What is the significance of the powerful sword she reveals? How can it be both “the downfall and the saviour of Dad”?

When her father is sent on a dangerous mission directly into the path of a Martian storm, Eva and her friends embark on a quest to bring him home. Will they discover the real truth about life on Mars? What’s actually out there?
