Rory and the Snack Dragons by Louisa MacDougall & Giulia Cregut ~ Blog Tour

Rory and the Snack Dragons is absolutely delightful! With Paper Bag Princess vibes, an intelligent girl outwits a dragon and they form the most unlikely of friendships. The development of the dragon character as one who doesn’t really like eating princesses and just wants to do good adds to the charm of the story.

Rory lives with the other dragons under the rule of his uncle, “Big Beastly”. When Rory gets caught hiding while the others are out hunting princesses, he is sentenced to having his wings clipped – unless he can perform an “act of great service to dragon-kind”. As he sets off on what he thinks will be his final day of flying, Rory accidentally kidnaps an magical undercover princess who loves growing fruits and vegetables. Could this be just what Rory needs?

The pair form a fantastic friendship growing jumbo-sized veg and showing the other dragons just how tasty apples, Brussell sprouts and cauliflower can be.

Giulia Cregut has created the most gorgeous illustrations with a cover that is so bright and appealing. Readers age 6+ won’t be able to resist this magical story!
