Mo (Monday the Sixteenth) is an under-dog readers can really get behind. He never asked to be born into a family line of wardens who protect the village of Bogfoss from monsters who wander the streets in search of food. Small and weak, Mo doesn’t think he’s suited to being a warden AT ALL – even when armed with his copy of “A Beginner’s Guide to Monsterology”!
To be fair to Mo, he gives it a good try but when he becomes a laughing stock because he can’t even defeat a little goblin, he decides to take matters into his own hands. He faces his nightmares head-on and sets off into the forest to catch a monster! What he discovers is not at all what he expects!
Fast-paced and funny, Grumpfort is a delightfully engaging adventure!
