Benny and his friends are practising their moves for the big night when they fall into a huge sinkhole. They’re shocked when a dinosaur crashes out of the darkness. Fortunately, Benny can push his big red button to stop the dinosaur in his tracks and make a new friend. Their Friday night party just got even better!
Benny is such a lovely character. He always looks for the best in people (robots and dinosaurs), trying to give them just what they need to feel better. This kindness is a wonderful model for children showing them how to be considerate and support someone who is having a hard time. Children will love chatting about why the robots were afraid of the dinosaur, why the dinosaur was upset and what Benny did to help.
This, and the other Benny books, are must-haves for EYFS and KS1 book corners. Benny is sure to become a good friend as children come back to these stories again and again.
